As the votes are counted this Election Day in Illinois, NBC Chicago will be showing the results live.
Voting for the 2024 Illinois primary election closes statewide at 7 p.m. At that time, NBC Chicago will begin live special coverage, tracking some of the key races, providing expert analysis and announcing the results of those called races.

The three-hour live special will air on the NBC Chicago News 24/7 streaming channel from 7-10 p.m. This includes NBC 5 News Political Correspondent Mary Ann Ahern, NBC 5 News Anchor and Correspondent Marion Brooks, Noticiero Telemundo Chicago Anchor and Correspondent Alfonso Gutierrez and numerous local and national political experts.
Provides coverage analysis and real-time election results for the largest city, county and state races, as well as statewide presidential election results. Live candidate press conferences and other key moments will also be included.
